 Geoff Forrest is a basket maker and willow weaver who runs Sustainable Designs based at Loch Doon in South West Scotland.
He designs and provides courses for both groups and individuals at Loch Doon or other venues. From ‘Have a Go’ to more advanced courses.
Willow has a variety of uses as the material for making baskets, living willow structures, to rustic furniture, river bank stabilisation and waste management. It is one of the earliest sources of pollen for bees in the spring and displays a wonderful array of colours through the seasons.
